1st Galway, Chairman met with Orri Vigfusson and others to discuss the Republic of Ireland salmon farm proposals.
2nd Galway, Chairman took part in demonstration on behalf of the Federation against the Republic of Ireland salmon farm proposals.
5th Drogheda, Chairman attended meeting of the Countryside Alliance Ireland.
6th Belfast, Meeting of the Freshwater Task Force to discuss our works programme in relation to the implementation of the Water Framework Directive
6th Belfast, Meeting with Chairman to discuss outstanding issues.
6th Belfast, Chairman and Maddy Kelly (Director) attended Lecture at Queens University on Gas Fracking.
7th Lisburn, Attended monthly Directors meeting.
8th Belfast, Chairman attended meeting at Sport NI to commence Baseline Data Study for Review of Angling in Northern Ireland.
14th Portaferry, Chairman and Allan Kilgore (Secretary) attended Workshop for IBIS Research Project on salmon and trout for Stakeholders & Researchers.
14th Fintona, Chairman attended Finore AC Annual General Meeting.
20th Craigavon, Gary Houston (Director) attended the Rivers Agency Floods Forum.
20th Portadown, Allan Kilgore ((Director) and Gary Houston (Director) attended the DCAL Salmon and Inland Fisheries Forum.
25th Lisburn, Chairman attended meeting with Iveagh Angling Club and Trevor Lunn MLA (Alliance) regarding water pollution in the River Lagan Catchment.
25th Belfast, Chairman attended meeting with G & L Hughes Ltd consultants regarding a strategic review of angling in NI.
27th Belfast, Chairman attended meeting with DOE Planning Service regarding hydroelectric installations.
28th Belfast, Chairman attended meeting of (Water Framework Directive) Fresh Water Task Force.

NOTICE FOR CLUB SECRETARIES
Poaching
Please ensure any potential poaching issues or information is forwarded to the Federation Development Officer as set out in the forms re-issued in July 11.
Private Water Bailiffs
It has come to the attention of the Federation that the court service are applying the charge of £100 for the appointment or renewal of Private Water Bailiffs. These charges are in line with the guidelines, however in the interim clubs should make one application for all renewals and appointments in this way clubs will then only be charged the one fee. The Federation are currently in discussions with the various authorities to try and resolve the issue.
Visit by Development Officer
As in previous years I am willing to attend either a Committee Meeting or the club AGM. To discuss either the work of the Federation or hear members concerns. Please let me know well in advance and I will try to attend.
