4th Banbridge, with Chairman attended Meeting with Irish Disabled Anglers.
4th Castlereagh, Trevor Ogbourne attended the Ulster Canal Project meeting for the Federation.
5th Randalstown, Attended the lower Neagh Bann (Water Framework Directive) Catchment Stakeholder Group meeting.
7th London, Chairman attended the Annual Dinner of the Flyfisher’s Club with Orri Vigfusson of North Atlantic Salmon Fund.
7th Belfast, Meeting of the Protection Against Wildlife Crime (PAW) Group to discuss wildlife crime.
7th Enniskillen, Attended the Erne Melvin (Water Framework Directive) Catchment Stakeholder Group meeting.
8th Oxford Island, Meeting with Sport NI to discuss the various angling coaching courses available.
12th London, Chairman attended conference on ‘Hydromorphology and Hydropower - Challenges and Practice’
12th Hillsborough, Director Gary Houston attended the Belfast Lough & Lagan (Water Framework Directive) Catchment Stakeholder Group meeting.
14th Attended the Upper Neagh Bann (Water Framework Directive) Catchment Stakeholder Group meeting.
20th Toome, Chairman, along with Director Allan Kilgore attended a meeting of the DCAL Salmon and Inland Fisheries Forum to discuss a draft Enforcement Policy.
22nd Belfast, with Chairman attended Meeting with Friends of the Earth to discuss the apparent poor implementation of the Habitats Directive in NI.
28th Glasgow, Chairman along with Director Allan Kilgore attended conference on ‘Boosting salmon numbers: is stocking the answer or the problem?’ organised by IBIS and the Atlantic Salmon Trust.
28th Belfast, Attended the DCAL Committee at Stormont to hear the proposals from DCAL on the salmon conservation measures for 2014 onwards.
29th Antrim, Meeting of the Nitrates Action Programme for Stakeholders.

NOTICE FOR CLUB SECRETARIES
Poaching
Please ensure any potential poaching issues or information is forwarded to the Federation Development Officer as set out in the forms re-issued in July 11.
Private Water Bailiffs
It has come to the attention of the Federation that the court service are applying the charge of £100 for the appointment or renewal of Private Water Bailiffs. These charges are in line with the guidelines, however in the interim clubs should make one application for all renewals and appointments in this way clubs may only be charged the one fee. The Federation are still in discussions with the authorities to try and resolve the issue.
Visit by Development Officer
As in previous years if any club would like me to come along to either a committee meeting or the Club AGM, during the winter months. To discuss either the work of the Federation and hear members concerns. Then let me know well in advance and I will try to attend.
