10th Carrickfergus, attended meeting with Alliance MLA Stewart Dickson regarding Fracking and Salmon Farming.
10th Ballyclare, With Chairman attended meeting with DUP MLA Paul Girvan regarding Fracking and Salmon Farming.
14th, Derry, Chairman attended meeting of the Loughs Agency Advisory Forum.
15th Ballymena, With Chairman attended meeting with TUV MLA Jim Allister regarding Fracking and Salmon Farming.
20th Stormont, attended meeting with SDLP MLA Alex Attwood regarding Fracking and Salmon Farming.
21st Templepatrick, With Chairman attended a seminar by IBIS on the scientific research fishery projects being carried out with the Loughs Agency.
22nd Belfast, Meeting with Seamus Connor of DCAL Inland Fisheries Group to discuss the Lough Erne Management Plan, the proposed Reservoirs Bill, and other issues.
22nd Belfast, Chairman attended a meeting with a Queens University student to discuss a dissertation paper on hydroelectricity in NI.
22nd Drumbo, Attending a meeting of the poaching sub group of Partnership for Action Against Wildlife Crime (PAW).
24th Dungannon, Chairman attended a meeting with Sport NI and the Ulster Coarse Fishing Federation to discuss potential grant aid under the ‘Active Clubs’ initiative.
29th Ballyclare, Visited the Six Mile Water river following the discovery of a fish kill.
29th Cushendall, With Chairman and Federation Directors Madelaine Kelly, Tom Lavelle, and Roy Simpson, attended the public meeting to discuss the introduction of additional salmon farming cages in Red Bay, Co. Antrim.
30th Belfast, Meeting with Judith Bankhead (Rivers Agency) about work on the river Lagan.

31st October; submission to NI Environment Agency regarding a hydroelectric scheme on the River Roe; AIL/2013/0019 Mr Declan McNicholl, 11 Peters Road, Dungiven.

Private Water Bailiffs (PWB)
Please see recent e-mail, clubs may claim back court expenses from DCAL for up to 5 PWB. This is backdated from 1st April 2013.
Slurry Spreading
As you may be aware the closed season for slurry spreading began on the 16th October until 31st January any breach of this directive should be reported on the pollution hotline 0800 80 70 60
