The following meetings were attended;
 
3rd Lisburn, Attended the monthly Directors meeting.

8th Belfast, Met with NIEA Conservation Designations and Protection. 

9th Ballymena, Lower Neagh Bann CSG meeting. 

21st Enniskillen, Attended a meeting of Fermanagh clubs to discuss a Management Plan for Lower Lough Erne. 

24th Belfast, Attended a PAW meeting to discuss wildlife crime. 

24th Enniskillen, Attended Erne Melvin CSG meeting. 

30th Bushmills, Meeting with J Kane of DCAL to discuss various issues.           

Correspondence / E-mails

Letter to K Anderson of NIEA about a lack of staff to cover pollution incidents.

Letter to DARD following a request for an amendment to a fish culture licence.

E-mail to the Ulster farmers Union about a meeting to discuss water levels on Lough Neagh.

Further letter to Mrs K Simpson about the legislation for the ban on the sale of rod caught salmon.

Submission by e-mail to DARD (Rivers Agency) on the Consultation about Reservoir Safety Policy.

E-mail to Omagh and Faughan clubs about the anglers monitoring initative.

Further letter to DCAL Information Branch about refusal to release information regarding the ban on the sale of rod caught salmon.

E-mail to NIFFA about our Memo of Understanding regarding teams to be entered for the European and World championships.


Discussions with                

National Trust about the Dun river.

DCAL about the proposed dredging of the Dun river.                                       

NOTICE FOR CLUB SECRETARIES

Poaching
Please ensure any potential poaching issues or information is forwarded to the Federation Development Officer as set out in the forms re-issued in July 11.

Private Water Bailiffs
It has come to the attention of the Federation that the court service are applying the charge of £100 for the appointment or renewal of Private Water Bailiffs. These charges are in line with the guidelines however in the interim clubs should make one application for all renewals and appointments in this way clubs will then only be charged the one fee. The Federation hope to take the matter up with various authorities in the coming months.

Annual Maintenance 
Rivers Agency has produced their annual maintenance programme for 2012/13. This is available to view on their website at: http://www.dardni.gov.uk/riversagency/index/flood-defence/rivers-agency-annual-watercourse-maintenance-programme.htm Each club should check to see if they will be effected. Cds containing the list of proposed works and the environmental scoping can be provided on request from Rivers Agency.
