Whether you're a seasoned angler or a beginner, the Ulster Angling Federation welcomes you to be part of our vibrant community. Together, we can inspire the anglers of tomorrow.

If you are interested in becoming a coach, or participating in a session contact the Ulster Angling Federation on uafclubdevelopment@gmail.com.

Checking if a Coach is Qualified or Licenced

The Ulster Angling Federation exclusively employs coaches who are suitably qualified and licensed. Each coach has successfully completed either their Level 2 Angling Lead Coach/Angling Event Lead Coach or Level 1 Angling Support Coach qualification. These coaches have undergone rigorous training and certification, including safeguarding training, first aid, and a DBS/AccessNI check.

Licensed coaches are supplied with a photographic ID card showing their name, qualification level, licence number, membership reference and the expiry date/validity period of their Licensed Coach membership.

You may check if a coach is qualified or licenced with the Angling Trust by following the link below:

https://anglingtrust.net/check-a-coach/

If you are concerned that the coach you are checking does not appear on that list, then please contact our Safeguarding Lead on the following email: uafclubdevelopment@gmail.com

The Federation will be able to check directly with the Angling Trust on your behalf. But please be mindful that coaches can be in the middle of renewing their licence and this can be confirmed. But always good practice to check!
